with Kate Mackin April 27th from 1-3 pm $30 Pranayama (or breath work) is an essential part of yoga. It helps to reset the nervous system and anchor our mind to our inner experience. Join me to take a look at various practices and their benefits and design a daily practice session.
with Kate Mackin and Todd Williams April 30th from 10 am - 2 pm $60 (includes vegan lunch) Let’s get out there and enjoy nature! Join us hiking on the Emerald Trail- a scenic tour of the South and North sides of Mount Washington. Not a lazy stroll through the woods. You will feel the burn! After the hike, enjoy a healthy vegan lunch and we will do some yoga to wind down and stretch out. We'll meet at 10 am at Olympia Park (455 Hallock St, Pittsburgh, PA 15211) and start the hike from there. You will start out with a special tea blend to keep you hydrated through the hike.
with Erin McAuley Tuesdays 1-2 pm Use your class pass! Poses are set up to be supported positions and sequencing has less total postures (but more space!) Diaphragmatic breath settles in as each pose is held for several minutes. This practice allows the body to settle throughout soft tissues and release, similar to how the body must relax when allowing oxygen to enter during an inhale.
Join us to get together and talk with like-minded individuals about things that are important to. Our next meeting is May 27th from 1-2 pm. This will be an opportunity to share resources and ideas, as well as to bring us all out of the isolation that Covid has created.
$30 Take a closer look at the components that make up your health. Explore the building blocks of physical wellbeing and tools to promote mental and emotional wellness. Leave with new ideas to incorporate into your life that meet your individual needs.
